The Spanish capital hosted a promotional event on June 9th focused on the Chinese city of Jinan, known as 'the City of Springs', to promote cultural exchange and pragmatic cooperation.

On June 9th, Madrid served as the venue for the urban promotion event "Opportunity in China: Jinan, the City of Springs". The event highlighted Jinan's unique spring water culture, its rich historical heritage, and its urban vitality, establishing a new platform for cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Spain.
Jinan, with origins dating back over 4200 years, shares a natural link with Madrid through water, given the Spanish capital's historical development tied to its water resources.
