NBA superstar Luka Dončić has been the focus of two basketball events in Madrid over the past 48 hours, organized by Jordan Brand and Basketball Emotion, drawing thousands of fans.

The Spanish capital became the epicenter of European basketball with the visit of Luka Dončić, who participated in two significant events that brought together a large number of fans. These events, driven by Jordan Brand and the leading sports equipment company Basketball Emotion, celebrated basketball culture.
The first day took place at the Basketball Emotion Megapark store in San Sebastián de los Reyes. There, Dončić spent time with fans, content creators, and sports enthusiasts. During the encounter, the Slovenian player engaged in a live interview, answered audience questions, and shared insights about his career, the current season, and his connection to sneaker culture, also testing the latest footwear from his line, the Luka 5 and Luka 77, in challenges on the store's court.
Dončić expressed his fondness for Madrid, the city where he began his professional career at the age of 13. He recalled his formative years and highlighted the capital's importance in his personal and athletic development, stating: "I have very good memories of Madrid, it's the city for which I left everything at 13 to come play basketball. It was hard to leave everything in Slovenia, but it was the best decision of my life, I really enjoyed my time here and I have a lot of affection for this city and everything it has given me."
The celebration continued with Jordan Brand's international competition, The One, a one-on-one format for young talents. Madrid hosted the first European stop at the CB Getafe facilities, where players from all over Spain competed. The presence of Luka Dončić and Sergio Llull added significance to the event, as they closely followed the games and shared the experience with the participants.
Dončić, who presented the awards to the winners who will represent Spain in the next phase in Los Angeles, commented on the event: "The One is an incredible opportunity for players to showcase their talent and continue growing. The level has been very high, and I really enjoyed seeing so many young people competing with such passion; it reminds me of when I was their age."
These activations have allowed Basketball Emotion and Jordan Brand to connect with diverse fan profiles, from followers of specialized products to young aspiring stars. The events reinforce the leadership of both brands in the sector and consolidate their physical space as a key meeting point for athletic performance in Spain.
