The municipality of Las Rozas has concluded the 2025 fiscal year with a surplus of 3,670,825 euros and a treasury reserve of 1,739,511 euros, maintaining its debt at 30.54%.

The Las Rozas City Council has closed the 2025 fiscal year with a surplus of 3,670,825 euros and a treasury reserve for general expenses of 1,739,511 euros. These figures were presented by the Councilor for Finance, Enrique González, during the ordinary plenary session held in May.
The municipal budget settlement for 2025 adheres to the budgetary stability objective. The municipality's debt stands at 30.54%, with an amortization that follows the planned timelines and remains below the limits set by the Ministry of Finance.
Enrique González emphasized that the economic data for the year "reflect the solidity and balance of the Municipal Treasury, the result of responsible and efficient management that prioritizes citizen attention and the quality of public services." He added that "All of this is possible thanks to balanced, efficient economic management aimed at ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of the municipality."
During the same session, various political initiatives were debated. A motion by Más Madrid Las Rozas to implement universal and free school canteens was rejected, receiving support from Más Madrid and PSOE, abstention from VOX, and a negative vote from the PP.
The Socialist Municipal Group presented a proposal to reform and strengthen the first cycle of Early Childhood Education (0-3 years), which also did not pass. The initiative from Vox regarding national priority in accessing public aid, housing, and social benefits met a similar fate.
In the 'requests and inquiries' segment, the PSOE requested the habilitation of the Camino de la Carrasquilla as an alternative to passing through the La Isabela estate. The Councilor for Urban Planning, Begoña Rodríguez, explained that the fencing license recently granted to the property delineates this new access route to the Canal de Guadarrama.
Rodríguez indicated that the City Council has initiated conversations with the municipality of Torrelodones to facilitate passage through its municipal area towards the Presa del Gasco. Furthermore, the Environment Department is analyzing the current state of the Camino de la Carrasquilla to undertake improvement works and ease transit in the area.
