The Peruvian restaurant group Inti de Oro, founded by León Carrillo, is celebrating its 35th anniversary in April 2026 by giving away 4,200 pisco sours to the first 35 diners with reservations at each of its four Madrid locations.

Starting April 8, 2026, and continuing throughout the month, customers visiting any of the four Inti de Oro restaurants in Madrid (Barrio de las Letras, Castellana, Argüelles, and Vallecas) can enjoy a complimentary pisco sour. The promotion is limited to the first 35 drinks per location per day, totaling 4,200 free cocktails.

"The same pisco sour I learned to prepare when no one in this city knew how to pronounce it. This April is mine to give it away. No discounts. No signs. Just one drink."

León Carrillo · Founder of Inti de Oro
The pisco sour, an emblem of Peruvian mixology, is renowned for its balance of acidity, sweetness, and a distinctive creamy texture. Its original recipe is attributed to bartender Víctor Vaughn Morris, who created it in Lima in the 1920s. For its preparation, a quality pisco, such as quebranta or acholado, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and egg white for the characteristic foam are recommended.
The secret to this cocktail lies in vigorous shaking with ice, followed by careful straining and impeccable presentation. It is served well chilled, and a few drops of angostura bitters on the foam not only enhance the aroma but also provide a visual contrast that identifies it.
Since its opening in 1991, Inti de Oro has established itself as a benchmark for Peruvian cuisine in Europe. With over three decades of history, the restaurant has maintained the authenticity and quality of its dishes, transporting diners to the heart of Peru through its decor and culinary offerings, which blend tradition and innovation.
