Ifema Madrid's economic results for 2025 show significant growth, with turnover reaching 216.8 million euros, 22% higher than in 2023. EBITDA stood at 42.8 million euros, a 56.8% increase from the last comparable odd-numbered year. These figures, according to the institution's management, certify its strength and capacity to generate resources and wealth in the Madrid region.
“"These results certify the strength of Ifema Madrid and its ability to generate resources and amplify wealth creation for the territory."
The success of 2025 is attributed to the fulfillment of the 2022-2026 Strategic Plan, designed after the pandemic to boost efficiency in fairs and congresses, diversify business, and attract major events such as the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix, to be held in Madrid. The institution's management highlighted that this growth allows for strategic projects and reaffirms its leadership in organizing fairs in Spain.
International expansion has been a fundamental pillar, with a 28% increase in exhibition space sales and the participation of over 22% foreign companies. In 2025, Ifema Madrid organized 75 professional fairs, 24 of which were also in digital format, 14 congresses, and 4 fairs abroad, in addition to 46 major leisure events and 566 conventions. Fairs such as Fitur and Fruit Attraction are consolidating as the institution's “flagship events.”
The institution is already working on the new 2027-2030 Strategic Plan, which will seek to consolidate Ifema Madrid's global expansion, aiming to be a world leader in major fairs and conventions. This plan intends to leverage Madrid's “extraordinary moment” to turn the city into an even stronger hub for attracting large international congresses and events. Ifema Madrid's activity annually generates 5.8 billion euros in the Madrid economy and contributes to maintaining nearly 47,700 jobs.
