The incident has caused damage to various workspaces within the judicial complex. In response, a labor union has requested that the Department of Justice of the Community of Madrid temporarily close the affected areas to ensure the safety of staff and visitors.
Meanwhile, the regional government confirmed that technical teams are working to repair the fault, which originated in a cold water pipe early in the morning. The intervention is focused on the basement and offices within the instruction section.
The General Directorate of Judicial Infrastructure stated that these efforts are part of the complex's ongoing maintenance plan. Official data indicates that since 2019, nearly six million euros have been invested in modernizing these facilities, including upgrades to climate control, electrical systems, and security.
