The works, ranging from scenes of corners of Madrid, Egypt, or Morocco to details of everyday objects, are presented as "an invitation to look, to look slowly against the noise and speed of social networks," according to the workshop's professor, Román Navarro, during the guided tour.
This initiative, now in its second year, highlights the "very different perspectives of the students," explained Román Navarro, who encouraged attendees to sign up for the workshop again next year. "We've already seen everything in the world; what we need to see is our perspective on those things."
The images will be on display at Torrefórum, located at avenida de Torrelodones, 8, in Torrelodones. The center hosts the diploma ceremony for the end of the course for various free courses offered by the THAM Social Services Association, including Photography, English, Orthography, Art History, Computer Science, University Entrance Preparation, Secondary Education, and Spanish for foreigners.
The event, held for the first time at Torreforum, was attended by the Education councilor of the Ayuntamiento de Moralzarzal, Beatriz Matesanz, and several officials from CEPA Almaján.
