The Samur-Protección Civil emergency services recorded 200 medical interventions and 32 hospital transfers during the LGTBI Pride celebrations held last week in Madrid.

Most of the interventions carried out by municipal teams were related to minor incidents. Among the most frequent cases, emergency services highlighted heat exhaustion, dizziness, and minor injuries such as sprains, which were exacerbated by the high temperatures recorded during the festivities.
The special operation was intensified on Saturday, coinciding with the state demonstration and concerts scheduled at various points in the capital, such as Puerta del Sol, Plaza de Pedro Zerolo, and Plaza de las Reinas.
Regarding other incidents, the Madrid City Council is keeping an investigation open to clarify the circumstances of the accident on Gran Vía, which involved a Municipal Police officer.
