The new racing circuit located between Ifema Madrid and Valdebebas held its first official track test with a Formula 1 car this Thursday.

The Ferrari team was responsible for debuting the asphalt of the Madrid circuit during a private filming day. This technical activity provided a look at key features of the track, such as the banked corner known as La Monumental, as well as the signage and track markings, with just over two months remaining until the Spanish Grand Prix.
The technical session required the implementation of a special mobility plan in the Valdebebas area. According to the Madrid City Council delegate for Security and Emergencies, traffic restrictions remained in place until 10:00 PM, as previously announced to the public.
To ensure the safety of the operation and minimize disruptions, the city deployed a team of 35 Municipal Police officers, supported by members of the Central Security Commissariat.
