April figures show a 1.8% increase in beneficiary households and a 1.9% rise in the number of individuals compared to the previous month, adding 1,375 new beneficiaries. Year-on-year, the increase stands at 18.2%, rising from 179,022 beneficiaries in May 2025 to the current 219,059.
Child protection remains a central pillar of the IMV. In May, the number of households with child beneficiaries rose by 1%, reaching 48,066. Currently, 90,276 children and adolescents in the region (41.4% of the total) receive this benefit.
The benefit's female-centric nature persists, with 118,540 women (54.1% of the total) as beneficiaries and 49,295 (69.33%) as holders, representing an increase of 1,003 women compared to the previous month.
Foreign national holders total 15,227, accounting for 21.41% of the total, with an increase of 241 individuals from the previous month and 2,173 (14.27%) over the past year. Most holders are concentrated in the 36 to 55 age group.
The average benefit amount in the Community of Madrid stands at 611.59 euros, above the national average of 538.68 euros. These averages vary significantly across autonomous communities and, in some cases, between provinces.
