The driver, however, managed to leave the car unaided before rescue units arrived.
SAMUR-Civil Protection paramedics attended to both occupants at the scene. After an initial assessment, medical teams decided to transfer the two injured individuals to separate hospitals in the capital. This decision was based on the "mechanism of injury," a precautionary protocol applied in accidents with high energy transfer, such as rollovers, where there is a risk of internal trauma that may not always be immediately apparent.
