Madrid Municipal Police officers have arrested six alleged members of the Latin Kings youth gang, including a minor, accused of assaulting and robbing a young man in the pradera de San Isidro.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Wednesday, when officers observed two young men leaving the park. One of them had bloodstains on his face and clothing, prompting the officers to request medical assistance.
The victim reported being approached by another young man who made gestures associated with youth gangs. Subsequently, he was punched and hit with a bottle, and a larger group then took the opportunity to steal his mobile phone and a speaker before fleeing the scene.
Following the report, officers initiated a search and located a group matching the description on Vicente Quesada street. The suspects attempted to escape, leading to a pursuit involving flashing lights and sirens.
Ultimately, the six youths were intercepted at the intersection of Ervigio and Tercio streets. The arrested individuals confessed to the assault and robbery, and the stolen items were later found abandoned in the park.
The detainees include three Spanish nationals, one Venezuelan, one Honduran, and one Ecuadorian, born between 2005 and 2009. The minor was transferred to the Juvenile Unit (GRUME) and placed in the custody of his parents. The victim, born in 2003, expressed his intention to file a formal complaint.
The arrested individuals are facing charges of robbery with violence and serious disobedience to authority.
