The Community of Madrid is set for a Sunday with cloudy skies, light showers intensifying at midday, and a notable drop in temperatures, according to the State Meteorological Agency.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a forecast for this Sunday indicating overcast skies with a subsequent tendency to clear in the Community of Madrid. A generalized decrease in temperatures is expected, being more pronounced in the maximums.
During the morning, weak showers are anticipated in the Sierra, which will spread to other areas during the central hours of the day before subsiding in the afternoon. Rainfall will be more frequent and intense in the Sierra, where it could reach considerable local strength. Aemet also warns of the possibility of heavy rainfall in the metropolitan area and the Henares basin, with moderate or occasional showers in the rest of the region.
Regarding temperatures, minimums will experience a slight rise, less likely in the Central System, while maximums will register a more pronounced decrease. Skies will remain cloudy or overcast, with morning fogs appearing in the higher areas of the Sierra due to low cloud cover.
The wind will blow lightly from the southwest, with strong gusts around midday. It will start the day from the southeast and shift to the south from the second half of the day, with possible intervals of moderate wind ceasing by the end of the day.
Temperatures will range between 10ºC and 16ºC in Madrid, 9ºC and 18ºC in Alcalá de Henares, 10ºC and 19ºC in Aranjuez, 6ºC and 14ºC in Collado Villalba, and between 9ºC and 17ºC in Getafe and Navalcarnero.
