The National Police have arrested six individuals in Madrid, Murcia, and Camarma de Esteruelas for their alleged involvement in a criminal network specialized in violent robberies and illegal detentions.

The investigation, which began in August 2025, led to the dismantling of a criminal cell that operated by meticulously selecting its victims. The suspects, equipped with firearms and signal jammers, targeted high-net-worth individuals, conducting prior surveillance to track their movements.
During the robberies, the perpetrators gagged and bound their victims for hours, often resorting to extreme physical violence. In one incident at a holiday apartment, a shot fired by one of the attackers caused severe injuries to a victim, prompting the intervention of specialized homicide investigators.
Following judicial authorization, simultaneous raids were conducted at six properties. During the operation, officers seized imitation firearms, forged license plates, signal jammers, jewelry, watches, narcotics, and cash. The detainees have been brought before the court, with three of them remanded in custody.
