The Community of Madrid, through its councilor Carlos Novillo, celebrated the awards ceremony for the 2025 San Isidro Fair at the Las Ventas bullring, honoring the top figures in bullfighting and highlighting public attendance.

The Councilor for Environment, Agriculture, and Interior, Carlos Novillo, presided over the event at the emblematic Las Ventas bullring, where the protagonists of the 2025 bullfighting season were honored. The ceremony, organized jointly with the Madrid City Council, served to underscore the successful attendance of the past fair.
Novillo emphasized the massive public response, stating, "In 2025, we enjoyed a successful Fair that set record figures. Nearly 600,000 people attended the bullring for one of the events, and today we want to recognize that." These numbers reflect the significant interest bullfighting generates among enthusiasts.
The bullfighter Alejandro Talavante was chosen by majority as the best matador of the year, a recognition of his outstanding performance. According to the Community of Madrid, Talavante was the only bullfighter to achieve a triumph through the Puerta Grande (Great Gate) of Las Ventas during the entire San Isidro Fair.
In the novillero category, Aarón Palacio received the award for best young bullfighter after cutting an ear in the first novillada of the fair. The Jandilla ranch was honored as the best livestock breeder for the "presentation and bravery" of its bulls in the corrida on June 5th.
The bravest bull of the season was 'Frenoso', a black bull weighing 559 kilos from the Victoriano del Río ranch, which was fought on May 16th by Fernando Adrián. The animal received an ovation during its drag, confirming its status as a standout performer at the Madrid bullring.
