Five Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on M-50 Near Paracuellos del Jarama

A crash involving four vehicles left five people with varying injuries, one seriously after being trapped.

Five people were injured on Monday after a collision involving four vehicles on the M-50 highway, near Paracuellos del Jarama. A 52-year-old woman, who was trapped, sustained serious injuries.

The incident occurred at 4:14 PM at kilometer 15 of the road. Two units from the Community of Madrid Fire Department responded to the scene, rescuing a woman who was trapped under one of the cars.
The trapped woman, aged 52, was transported by SUMMA112 to La Paz Hospital and is reported to have serious injuries.
Three other injured individuals sustained moderate to severe injuries: a 49-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man were taken to Ramón y Cajal Hospital, and a 76-year-old man was evacuated to San Carlos Clinical Hospital.
Additionally, Summa112 paramedics transported a 25-year-old woman with minor injuries to Infanta Sofía Hospital.
The Civil Guard is investigating the cause of the accident.
