The financial entity reinforces its commitment to Madrid's cultural life by presenting a program from May 29 to June 14 that integrates literature, innovation, social inclusion, and entertainment. The pavilion is conceived as an open space for readers, families, young people, and groups with special needs.
A central focus of the activities will be collaboration with social entities, featuring events that use literature and creativity as tools for integration. On June 8, 'Las mareas que me habitan' by Patricia García will be presented, focusing on the reality of people with Alzheimer's and their families, in partnership with the Afade association.
On June 10, the Argadini association will host a participatory workshop on oral storytelling and creativity for people with disabilities, promoting the construction of collective narratives. These initiatives aim to give voice to experiences often outside the media spotlight, reinforcing the fair's vision as an accessible space.
Another highlight, on June 4, will be the presentation of 'Anónimas', a project that revisits 'One Thousand and One Nights' using artificial intelligence, sparking debates on authorship and the recognition of women in literature. A special edition of the book will donate its proceeds to projects defending women's rights.
The program also includes informative and entertainment formats. On June 1, the pavilion will broadcast live 'El Programa de Ortega' from Radio Marca, focusing on Paralympic sports. On June 6, the discussion 'El relato gastronómico en primera persona' will bring together authors and editors specializing in culinary literature.
CaixaBank's digital platform imagin, aimed at young audiences, will present 'El Giro', a space featuring comedians like Valeria Ros and Raúl Pérez, and authors such as Eloy Moreno and Paz Padilla. This area will serve as a rest and reading space during the week and a stage for live performances on weekends.
CaixaBank's presence at the fair reflects an expanded concept of cultural events, blending reading, experience, and participation through children's workshops, AI debates, radio shows, and social initiatives. A mobile office in El Retiro Park will complete the offering, integrating service, culture, and proximity.
