The Community of Madrid has launched a new scholarship program aimed at students wishing to pursue Intermediate or Higher Level Vocational Training (FP) cycles in private institutions during the 2026/27 academic year.

Madrid residents interested in these grants have until July 9 to submit their applications. The regional government has allocated an investment of 30.5 million euros to benefit approximately 13,000 students, aiming to remove financial barriers to vocational training.
The call for applications, published today in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid (BOCM), allows applications to be submitted electronically or in person. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled or have a reserved place for the 2026/27 academic year in an FP cycle (full-time, blended, or virtual), must not have repeated the course for which the aid is requested, must reside in the Community of Madrid, and must not exceed a family per capita income threshold of 35,913 euros annually.
The scholarship amount varies depending on the type of training cycle and the family's economic situation. Higher Level students in their first year can receive between €2,500 and €3,250 annually, while those in their second or third year (applicable for double cycles) can receive between €1,925 and €2,525. For Intermediate Level cycles, amounts range from €1,659 to €2,765.
An additional grant is available for families facing greater economic vulnerability. Beneficiaries of the Minimum Insertion Income (RMI) or the Minimum Vital Income (IMV) can receive higher amounts: up to €3,500 for the first year of Higher Level and €3,000 for Intermediate Level.
The application process can be completed through the electronic headquarters of the Consejería de Educación, Ciencia y Universidades, the official website of the Community of Madrid, public assistance offices, regional town halls, or the Digital Account.
