The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated a yellow alert throughout the Community of Madrid this Sunday, due to the forecast of strong storms, wind gusts, and occasional hail.

The weather alert will be in effect from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, a period during which significant weather phenomena are expected in the region. Storms, accompanied by scattered showers, are forecast to begin in the Sierra around midday and spread to other areas of the Community in the afternoon.
Temperatures for the day are expected to range between 17 and 36 degrees Celsius, varying depending on the specific area within the Community of Madrid.
The Madrid 112 Security and Emergencies Agency (ASEM112) has notified the competent city councils and official bodies about the alert issued by Aemet, so they can take appropriate measures.
