Problems began at the start of the service, halting train circulation between the Villaverde Bajo and Atocha stations. This has resulted in the division of the affected lines into two sections.
Trains on line C-4 are now operating from Parla to Villaverde Alto, while the C-4a variant runs between Alcobendas-San Sebastián de los Reyes and Chamartín. The C-4b variant runs between Colmenar Viejo and Atocha.
Similarly, trains on line C-3 are starting their journey in Aranjuez and ending in San Cristóbal de los Ángeles, not running on their northern section between Chamartín and Atocha.
