The 43rd edition of Antik Almoneda will take place at IFEMA Madrid from April 11 to 19, offering a wide selection of antiques, art, decoration, and vintage fashion, and featuring the exhibition 'Music Icons: The Memorabilia of the Stars'.

Over 90 antique dealers and galleries will gather at IFEMA Madrid's Pavilion 12 for the 43rd edition of Antik Almoneda. This event, running from April 11 to 19, will allow visitors to directly purchase collectible items and artworks dating from the 18th century to the 1960s and 70s. The fair will focus on decoration, collecting, art, and vintage fashion, as reported by Ifema Madrid.
The public will find a diverse offering including Art Deco pieces, jewelry, books, carpets, paintings, and sculptures. The fair is designed for collectors and enthusiasts, who will have access to unique items from various eras and styles. Additionally, Thursday, April 10, will be an exclusive day for professionals such as decorators, interior designers, and architects, who can pre-register for easier purchasing. Tuesday, April 14, will be an open day with free access for all visitors.

Among the novelties of this edition is the exhibition 'Music Icons: The Memorabilia of the Stars', organized in collaboration with collector Adrià Codina Ferrer. The exhibition will bring together original pieces from great music figures of the last 70 years, including Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson, Elton John, David Bowie, and Rosalía, with emblematic objects used in concerts, music videos, and historical moments of their careers.

Decoration and furniture will play a prominent role, with a selection of high-quality pieces. Items on display will include a pair of armchairs by Paolo Buffa from the 1950s, an original table lamp by Ecolight Milano from the late 1960s, and an Art Deco cabinet by Jules Leleu from the late 1940s. Historical pieces such as a 19th-century French secrétaire and an 'Orchidée' armchair by Michel Cadestin from 1968 will also be featured.
The offerings will be complemented by decorative objects such as Murano glass vases, Tibetan jars, and a 19th-century bronze partridge sculpture signed by Danish artist Pr. Jenssen. In the realm of jewelry, costume jewelry, and watchmaking, there will be jet and Austrian crystal necklaces, 19th-century Italian and French bracelets, and an articulated English bracelet with turquoise, garnets, and diamonds.
Vintage fashion enthusiasts will find a diverse selection of clothing and accessories, including bags, belts, scarves, hats, coats, and shoes, designed to combine garments from different eras. For collectors, the fair will offer musical instruments, antique toys, typewriters and cameras, fans, canes, globes, books, candelabras, microscopes, silver, porcelain, and clocks, among others.
Antik Almoneda will also showcase plastic artworks by renowned artists such as Manolo Valdés, Juan Barjola, Diego Rivera, Joan Miró, and María Blanchard. Additionally, numbered and signed editions of artist books by Miquel Barceló and Antoni Tàpies will be available. The fair will include items of high historical value, such as a sculpture of a nobleman from the Ancient Egyptian Empire, a Roman Pudica Venus torso, and a Roman mosaic, along with a fossilized cave bear head from the Pleistocene era, originating from Romania.
The parallel activity program will feature restoration workshops, specialized talks, expert meetings, and educational sessions on art history, collecting, and Japanese culture. Presentations related to the 'Music Icons' exhibition will also be held.
