The Community of Madrid is launching a practical course on the use of artificial intelligence in non-formal education and youth intervention, focusing on creative and ethical applications.

Registration for a course designed for professionals and interested individuals on applying artificial intelligence (AI) in non-formal education, educational leisure, and youth animation projects will open soon. The training will focus on how to use AI tools for activity design, resource generation, planning improvement, and fostering creativity, always with an ethical and pedagogical perspective.
The course, offered in a blended format, will explore AI as a transformative tool in managing educational and youth projects. It will cover practical applications, introduce tools for creativity and communication, and delve into the critical and responsible use of technology with young people, paying special attention to privacy, biases, and data protection.
The methodology will be active and oriented towards practical experimentation, combining in-person sessions with synchronous and asynchronous online sessions. The program includes an introduction to AI, its fundamentals, its role in the educational and social sphere, and the design of educational leisure experiences with AI support.
The course dates are scheduled from November 17 to December 3, 2026. In-person and synchronous sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon, while asynchronous work will be distributed over two weeks. The course will have a total duration of 24 hours and will be held at the Espacio Joven 14-30 and online.
The target audience includes youth leisure monitors, sociocultural animators, educators, youth technicians, and professionals linked to associations and social entities interested in digital innovation. Selection criteria will prioritize applicants between 18 and 35 years old with a suitable profile and a connection to youth work and technology.
