The National Police has dismantled 12 drug dens and arrested over 30 individuals in a comprehensive anti-drug trafficking operation across the Community of Madrid, seizing six kilograms of narcotics, weapons, and 42,000 euros in cash.

This recent intervention brings the total to 64 drug sales points dismantled and 97 arrests made by the police force in the first three months of the year, as reported by the Superior Police Headquarters of Madrid. The actions have been carried out in various towns and districts, demonstrating a coordinated effort against the distribution of illegal substances.
One of the initial operations took place on February 12 in Parla, where a dwelling used for drug distribution was identified. Officers seized cocaine, marijuana, related paraphernalia, 1,000 euros in cash, and stolen items used as currency for drugs. Five individuals were arrested for an alleged public health offense.
Days later, in the Tetuán district, the Police simultaneously raided three apartments in the same building that had been converted into drug sales and consumption points. One hundred grams of cocaine and ketamine were seized, along with electronic devices. Eight people were arrested, and it was noted that one of the dwellings operated as a smoking room, complicating police work. The arrested individuals also face charges of belonging to a criminal organization.

With these latest results, the police force has reached 64 dismantled drug sales points and a total of 97 arrests in the first three months of the year.

Other notable operations include the arrest of an individual in Ciudad Lineal on February 25, who was using an electric scooter to distribute drugs, leading to the seizure of the vehicle, ten grams of cocaine, and 4,000 euros. In Villa de Vallecas, an investigation initiated in May of the previous year culminated in the dismantling of a marijuana plantation intended for the international market, resulting in the arrest of two people and the seizure of 17,000 euros, firearms, and ammunition.
Interventions continued in Fuenlabrada on March 19, with the dismantling of a drug den and the arrest of two men who contacted buyers via messaging apps. In Móstoles, on March 23, a sales point was closed where four men offered drugs in exchange for sexual favors, leading to the seizure of cocaine, ketamine, and 16 mobile phones. On March 13 in Carabanchel, the Police confiscated over six kilograms of drugs and 13 liters of chemical products, arresting six men, two of whom were imprisoned. A drug den near children's areas in Torrejón de Ardoz was also dismantled.
Finally, on March 26, a joint operation with the Local Police of Pozuelo de Alarcón led to the dismantling of a plantation with over a thousand marijuana plants in a basement, resulting in the arrest of one man. On the same day, in Fuenlabrada, another individual was arrested with half a kilogram of hashish and cocaine, 12,000 euros in cash, and a vehicle.
