The Torrejón de Ardoz City Council joins the FEMP's call for a minute of silence this Monday, June 29th, at 12:00 PM, in support of the victims of the earthquakes in Venezuela.

The municipality of Torrejón de Ardoz has expressed its solidarity with the Venezuelan people following the devastating earthquakes that have caused over 200 deaths and affected thousands, destroying essential infrastructure and basic services.
As a gesture of support and respect, the council is joining the initiative of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) by calling for a minute of silence in front of the City Hall next Monday, June 29th, at 12:00 PM.

"The residents of Torrejón have always shown our solidarity when a tragedy has occurred, and now I am sure we will also rise to the occasion with the inhabitants of Venezuela. I encourage everyone who can, to the best of their ability, to collaborate in this initiative."

Mayor of Torrejón de Ardoz · Alejandro Navarro Prieto
Citizens are encouraged to make voluntary financial contributions to help the victims. The quickest way to contribute is through donations to humanitarian organizations with a presence and logistical capacity in the country, such as the Red Cross and Caritas.
