The security plan, designed to cover both the Fairgrounds and the rest of the municipality, incorporates new technological tools this year. Key measures include the installation of surveillance cameras at the venue and the use of body-worn cameras by officers, which will allow for the recording of actions performed during their service.
To improve response times to emergencies, a police control tower has been installed to monitor events in real-time. Additionally, the operation will include drones and canine units, strengthening surveillance in high-traffic areas such as the peñas zone, where direct alert buttons have been installed to notify security forces immediately.
The deployment, involving nearly 300 personnel, is the result of collaboration between the National Police, Civil Protection, and SUMMA health services. The operation will also include officers from other municipalities, notably the Cavalry Squadron of the Madrid Municipal Police, which will patrol key locations such as the Parque del Ocio.
