The urban public transport service in Alcalá de Henares will be adapted for the 2026 Fairs, taking place from August 21 to 30, with route modifications and reinforced night lines.

Night lines L-1A, L-1B, L-10 nocturno, and L-11 will increase their frequency to every 30 minutes during the festivities. From Monday to Thursday, service will extend until 3:30 AM, and from Friday to Sunday until 5:30 AM, with the exception of Sunday, August 30, when it will end at 3:30 AM.
The L-10 night line will extend its route to Plaza de la Juventud and Lope de Figueroa, bringing the service closer to the Fairgrounds and facilitating attendees' return.
During the day, urban bus lines will maintain their usual routes, with a single modification for the L-1B line due to the Fairs. This line will no longer run along Fernán Falcón street and will alter its itinerary to pass through Giner de los Ríos, Teniente Ruiz, Sebastián de la Plaza, Vía Complutense, Marqués de Alonso Martínez, and paseo de la Alameda, before resuming its regular route.
Regarding interurban transport, line L-229 will shorten its route to the Abogados de Oficio roundabout, and line L-223 will take over the Rodríguez de Hita stop currently served by L-229.
The City Council emphasizes the importance of using public transport during the festivities, especially for nighttime travel, to promote safer mobility and avoid private vehicle use.
