The Paracuellos de Jarama City Council opens registration for its summer sports activities, including swimming courses, aqua-fitness, and guided classes at the municipal pool.

With the arrival of summer and rising temperatures, Paracuellos de Jarama presents its summer sports activities program, designed to offer healthy leisure options for its residents. Registration for swimming courses and summer guided classes will be available from June 11 to 19, with the official start of activities scheduled for July 1.
The aquatic program at the municipal pool will run throughout July. For the youngest participants, pre-infant swimming courses are offered for babies born in 2021 and 2022, with specific morning schedules. Children born between 2013 and 2020 will participate in children's swimming, which has 210 spots and classes twice a week, with morning or afternoon options.
Teenagers and adults, born from 2012 onwards, have 60 spots available for swimming in evening hours, from Monday to Thursday. Additionally, aqua-fitness, a low-impact cardiovascular activity, is available for those over 14 years old, with 90 spots and three alternative time slots in the morning and late afternoon/evening.
Beyond the pool, the sports offerings include guided classes in the gym and intensive tennis and paddle courses. Disciplines such as Global Training, Titanes, Activa T, and Virtual Indoor Cycling will be held during July and extend into September, adapting to different intensity levels and goals. Detailed schedules can be consulted in the complementary documentation from the sports department.
The registration process consists of two phases: pre-registration from June 11 to 19 and payment formalization from June 22 to 26. Interested individuals can submit their applications online through the City Council's website, in the 'Online Sports Procedures' section, or in person at the municipal sports center's concierge. The use of a swim cap, swimsuit, flip-flops, and towel is mandatory for all aquatic activities.
