The incident occurred around 3:20 PM at exit 22 of the highway. The 112 of the Community of Madrid reported that the rider, the sole occupant of the vehicle, went off the road in an incident that did not involve other vehicles.

SUMMA paramedics responded to the accident scene, a difficult-to-access area, to attend to the injured rider. The man, who suffered multiple traumas, was transported by medical helicopter to 12 de Octubre Hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition.

The Guardia Civil has launched an investigation to clarify the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.
