A 30-year-old man has been seriously injured following a motorcycle accident on the A-2 highway, as it passes through the municipality of Torrejón de Ardoz. The incident occurred around 3:20 PM, near exit 22.

For reasons still under investigation, the rider lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The motorcyclist, the sole occupant of the bike, fell down an embankment adjacent to the road.

Emergency services from Summa 112, who were dispatched to the scene, had to access a difficult-to-reach area to treat the injured man, who presented with several significant traumas. After initial medical attention and stabilization, he was airlifted by medical helicopter to 12 de Octubre Hospital, where he remains admitted in serious condition.

Officers from the Guardia Civil also attended the accident site and have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
