The contract, valued at 4.62 million euros, aims to enhance road safety and traffic flow between kilometer points 14.800 and 26.300. This initiative is part of a broader plan to upgrade the A-3 motorway connecting Madrid to Valencia, stretching from the M-30 to the provincial border of Cuenca.
Planned improvements include realigning the road layout, extending lanes, and creating new weaving lanes. Additionally, the project features a redesign of the Rivas West junction to improve access to the town and reorganize traffic flow at Cisne Street.
The total estimated budget for the entire project phase is 122 million euros. The administrative process has progressed following the approval of the preliminary project on February 18 and its subsequent publication in the Official State Gazette on March 19.
