The XLIII Alcalá de Henares Book Fair is hosting the presentation of Hugo Sánchez's new poetic dilogy, titled Ecos de la Tempestad. This deeply personal work narrates the author's experience in setting boundaries against psychological abuse in a relationship, highlighting the crucial role of professional therapy and individual determination to protect one's identity.
With a career that includes five previous poetry collections, Sánchez considers Alto componente emocional - Bilogía Ecos de la Tempestad I (High Emotional Component - Dilogy Echoes of the Storm I) his most intimate work to date. Through his verses, the writer from Valladolid addresses the process of personal reconstruction and the strengthening that arises after facing complex relational dynamics, transforming pain into a voice of resilience.
“"It is a voice that does not negotiate destiny."
The first volume of the dilogy offers an honest perspective on overcoming challenges and the value of not yielding to invisible pressures, serving as an inspiration for those seeking to safeguard their mental health. The work focuses on the emotional component as the core of a definitive healing process.
Readers will have the opportunity to meet Hugo Sánchez and acquire signed copies of Ecos de la Tempestad I at the Ediciones VA Booth at the Alcalá de Henares Book Fair. Signings are scheduled for Saturday, April 18, and Thursday, April 23, with the latter coinciding with Book Day. This event solidifies Sánchez's position as a relevant voice in contemporary lyric poetry, following the success of his publications on platforms like Buscalibre.
