The incident occurred on Friday afternoon, when emergency services were alerted to a thick column of smoke emanating from a truck workshop in San Fernando de Henares. The rapid response of the firefighting teams was crucial in preventing a larger disaster.
According to reports from Emergencias 112 de la Comunidad de Madrid, the fire was contained to an area of approximately 250 square meters within the industrial facility. Despite the intensity of the flames, which completely destroyed three vehicles, no injuries were reported.
The intervention of ten units from the Madrid Community Firefighters allowed the blaze to be controlled in just 30 minutes. Their efforts were essential in preventing the flames from spreading to the rest of the premises, which spans about 1,500 square meters, thereby saving most of the structure.
