A fire at a vehicle workshop in San Fernando de Henares generated a significant smoke plume visible from the A-2 highway, impacting an industrial warehouse but causing no injuries.

The incident occurred on Friday afternoon at a warehouse spanning approximately 1,500 square meters, located on Sierra de Guadarrama Street, within the industrial park of the town. The flames started around 8:12 PM in a section of a truck workshop.
The fire incinerated three vehicles and affected about 250 square meters of the facility. The swift response from emergency services was crucial in containing the situation.

Ten units from the Community of Madrid Fire Department were dispatched to the scene, managing to control the fire in approximately 30 minutes and preventing its spread to the rest of the warehouse. SUMMA paramedics and Civil Protection personnel also attended as a precaution, confirming no injuries. The causes of the fire are currently unknown.
