The Municipal Board of District IV has organized an extensive event program that will take place over three days, offering a wide range of cultural, musical, children's, sports, and leisure activities for all ages.
On Friday, May 29, the La Galatea Cultural Center will host workshops and educational games for children aged 3 to 10, followed by a musical theater performance of The Wizard of Oz, a dance performance titled The House of Bernarda Alba, and rock concerts by Grupo Trevian and Sambolero. The Plaza del Viento will conclude the day with a concert by Lemon Oil.
Saturday, May 30, will begin with a Tourist Route on San Ignacio de Loyola and an environmental route through the Gran Parque de Espartales, both requiring prior registration. In the morning, a parade with the Comparsa de Pequeñantes will tour various streets. Parque Ciudad 10 will offer games, a pollinator insect workshop, and activities such as an Escape Room and poetry recitals at the La Galatea Cultural Center. The Plaza del Viento will come alive with aquatic bouncy castles, workshops, English storytelling, a foam party, a popular paella, and concerts by MAYROCK and MARSHALL FLASH.
Sunday, May 31, the program includes the Tourist Route Rhymes and Legends of Alcalá de Henares and another parade by Los Pequeñantes. The La Galatea Cultural Center will present the play Soñador o Escritor, while Parque Jesuitas will feature children's games and workshops. The Plaza del Viento will host more aquatic activities, Country Line exhibitions, dance performances, underwater workshops, a foam party, and pop-rock concerts with Sin Recreo. Throughout the weekend, the Plaza del Viento will have food trucks.
