The ceremony, held in conjunction with the Virgen del Val festivities, highlighted the dedication and public service of the local force. During the event, various decorations were awarded, including Merit Crosses with white insignia to several inspectors, sub-inspectors, and local officers.
In addition to internal awards, the event recognized members of other security forces and organizations. External honorees included commanders from the National Police and representatives from emergency services such as the Fire Department and the Civil Protection Group, acknowledging their ongoing cooperation with municipal security.
The awards program also included individual commendations and Service Constancy Crosses, recognizing officers with 15, 20, and 25 years of service. Furthermore, retired police officers were honored with commemorative plaques for their professional careers in the city.
