Next Friday, April 10, the Church of the Hospital de Antezana, located at Calle Mayor, 46 in Alcalá de Henares, will host an engaging conference titled «Alcalá de Henares and its Influence in New Spain».
The lecture will be given by Antonio Cordero, a prominent figure in the history of New Spain. Cordero holds a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a master's in Political Science from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, providing him with a deep perspective on the subject.
The event will begin at 7:30 PM, and admission will be free until full capacity is reached, offering a unique opportunity to explore the historical and cultural links between the Complutense city and the viceroyalty.
In addition to the conference, attendees will have the option to take guided tours of the Museum of Medicine of the Golden Age, further enriching the cultural experience.
