The Local Government Board of Alcalá de Henares has given its approval to various fundamental agreements for the organization of the upcoming 2026 Fairs and Festivals. These celebrations will be held in the city between August 21 and 30.
Among the decisions made is the approval of the bullfighting program for the Fairs. Additionally, the list of authorized concessionaires for installing attractions and the various businesses that will make up the fairground at Isla del Colegio has been finalized.
The allocation of bar-stalls for political parties, regional houses, and non-profit associations has also been approved. These spaces are consolidated as key meeting and participation points during the festivities.
Furthermore, the unified and acoustic security service for the fairground has been awarded for a total amount of 52,393 euros, including VAT. This service aims to monitor sound equipment and ensure compliance with the established acoustic regulations.
Moreover, a sponsorship agreement with Talleres de las Heras has been ratified. This collaboration will support both the Fairs and Festivals and the municipal activities planned for Christmas 2026.
With the formalization of these agreements, the City Council is advancing in the preparations to offer Fairs that aim to be participatory, safe, and accessible to all residents and visitors.
