The initiative, promoted by the Councilor for Economy, Employment, and Commerce, Fernando Romero, primarily aims to support local businesses and create a meeting point for residents and visitors. This year, the fair will feature the participation of 29 commercial establishments, a producers' market with 12 stalls, and another 21 stalls dedicated to crafts.
Throughout the day, various leisure activities will take place, including children's workshops, a play area with bouncy castles, and other new attractions. Among these are musical entertainment by DJs who are students from IES Antonio Gaudí, the distribution of seven hundred portions of paella, and the participation of the Club Deportivo Coslada with a human foosball game.
In the afternoon, the group Malavara will perform, complemented by a Zumba masterclass and shows by magician and clown Totó. Councilor Fernando Romero emphasized that the fair exemplifies the municipal commitment to small businesses and neighborhood life, offering quality products and a space for connection with associations and merchants.
The Barrio del Puerto will thus become the setting for a fair that seeks to strengthen local commerce, proximity life, and common well-being. The initiative invites attendees to rediscover the value of the shops, dance schools, bakeries, and bookstores that bring life to the streets and sustain the municipal economy.
With this fourth edition, the Coslada City Council reaffirms its support for the local economic fabric and promotes the creation of community spaces, consolidating the Barrio del Puerto Fair as a benchmark event for citizens.
