On Sunday, October 4, Ajalvir will once again become a meeting point for the Cervantes Trail, a healthy hiking initiative organized by the Torrejón University Hospital.

This route, which gathers hundreds of participants from across the region each year, aims to promote outdoor sports and encourage healthy lifestyle habits among attendees. The event will kick off at 10:00 AM with departure and arrival at the Plaza de la Villa, in front of the Town Hall.
The planned route covers a distance of 9.5 km, with parking available in the surrounding areas to facilitate participant access. Ajalvir actively participates in this initiative, establishing itself as one of the most anticipated routes in the hiking calendar for the Corredor del Henares region.
The day is designed as a morning to walk, take care of one's health, and enjoy the municipality's paths, while also fostering a space for coexistence among residents and participants from other towns.
Interested individuals are encouraged to prepare their sneakers and join the initiative next Sunday, October 4, at 10:00 AM in the Plaza de la Villa.
