This initiative, valid until May 18, includes spaces for vehicles in car parks such as Torrepista, Juncal, Fresnos, Parque Cataluña, and Barrio Verde. Car spaces are being sold from 7,511 euros, while motorcycle spaces are available from 2,667 euros in locations like Cañada, Rosario, Fresnos, Parque Cataluña, and Barrio Verde.
The presentation of this offer was led by the mayor of Torrejón de Ardoz, Alejandro Navarro Prieto, and the first deputy mayor and councilor for Urban Planning, Housing, and Youth, Víctor Miranda Lozano. Both emphasized that the measure aims to meet the high demand for parking in various areas of the city.
“"The City Council offers new garage spaces at affordable prices and they are below market rates, for the residents of Torrejón de Ardoz in neighborhoods with high parking demand."
Navarro Prieto also highlighted the council's efforts in creating new free parking spaces. Recently, three surface car parks were opened, adding 204 spaces on Orfebrería Street (in Parque Cataluña), Malala Yousafzai Street (in Soto Norte), and Valle del Honor Street (in the Barrio del Castillo).
In addition to these actions, a new free surface parking lot with 231 spaces has been enabled on Francia Street, a direct response to requests from residents of Plaza de las Palmeras-Cañada. Furthermore, in 2024, a free multi-story car park next to the station became operational, featuring 653 spaces across three floors.
