The José María Rodero Municipal Theater in Torrejón de Ardoz has announced its program for the second quarter of 2026, offering a diverse selection of shows including theater, music, and dance for all audiences.
The new cultural season in Torrejón de Ardoz kicks off with a varied offering designed to appeal to all generations. Among the most prominent names are the renowned singer Paloma San Basilio, who will pay tribute to Dulcinea, and the company Yllana with their show Gool!. Successful plays such as Misery and Spanish literary classics like La Dama Boba by Lope de Vega will also be presented.
The program was presented by Mayor Alejandro Navarro Prieto and theater manager Valeriano Díaz. Both emphasized the municipality's commitment to culture, highlighting the inclusion of comedies, intense dramas, and free activities during Senior Citizens' Week, such as the performance of La Verbena de la Paloma and the return of Alejandro Lara with his Spanish dance show Latido y Tañido.
The season will open this weekend with the comedy Locuras Paralelas, starring Dafne Fernández, Sergio Mur, and Fernando Andina, and the comedy show Palabras mayores by comedian Álex O’Dogherty. Other notable performances include the Spanish Dance Gala by the Aida Gómez Spanish Ballet on Saturday, April 18, and Paloma San Basilio's performance on Sunday, April 19.
To facilitate ticket access, the theater box office will be open from Thursday to Sunday in the afternoon, and on Saturdays and Sundays also in the morning. Additionally, a self-service ticket machine has been installed at the Casa de Cultura, allowing card purchases without commission.
