Móstoles Hosts Villa de Móstoles Judo Tournament for Junior Categories

The competition brings together young judokas from all over Spain at the Móstoles-Sur Municipal Pavilion, fostering coexistence and experience exchange.

The town of Móstoles is today, May 9, the epicenter of grassroots judo with the celebration of the second edition of the Villa de Móstoles Judo Tournament, an event that brings together young talents from various parts of Spain.

The event, designed for the junior categories of this sport, is organized by a renowned Olympic medalist, in collaboration with the Community of Madrid, the Móstoles City Council through its Sports and Health Department, the Spanish Judo Federation, and the Madrid Judo Federation.
The competition takes place at the Móstoles-Sur Municipal Pavilion and hosts athletes from the mini-benjamín, benjamín, and alevín categories. In addition to the fights, the program includes a subsequent joint training session, with the participation of judokas from all categories, seeking to strengthen sports ties and the exchange of knowledge among participants.
The schedules for the different categories are distributed throughout the day. The alevín category competes from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Subsequently, the benjamín category will take over between 11:45 AM and 1:00 PM. Finally, the youngest, from the mini-benjamín category, will compete from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM.
