The Leganés City Council has approved, in an extraordinary Plenary session, August 14 and October 11, 2027, as local holidays for the municipality.
The decision, approved unanimously, adds to the existing holiday calendar for 2027. The Plenary also acknowledged the resignation of PSOE councilor Concepción Saugar Vera. Her position will be filled by Ignacio Benavente García, the next on the socialist list, following the resignation of number 12, Sara Fernández Nieves.
