The program combines major performances at the fairgrounds with activities organized by local neighborhood associations and brotherhoods. The initial events will begin on Saturday, October 3rd, with a solidarity food drive, followed the next day by a parade of giants and big-heads and a performance by the Orquesta Panorama.
The official start of the festivities will be on Wednesday, October 7th, featuring a street band and the opening speech by Leganés Civil Protection. The day will also include a tribute to Sabina. On Thursday, October 8th, the fairgrounds will host the 'Cerca de las Estrellas' gala with several artists, preceded by games for women and a batucada parade.
The weekend of October 9th to 11th will feature performances by renowned artists. On Friday, October 9th, Juan Magán will perform at 11:00 PM. Saturday, October 10th, will be dedicated to rock with a festival featuring Mägo de Oz, alongside children's games and a popular sardine feast. Sunday, October 11th, will see Siempre Así perform a concert at 9:00 PM, followed by fireworks and performances by Nancys Rubias and Fangoria.
The last day of major concerts, Monday, October 12th, will feature performances by Paula Mattheus and Besmaya. The day will be completed with a popular paella and a theatrical guided tour of Leganés.
The program also includes traditional events such as the 48th San Nicasio Popular Race on Sunday the 11th, the main mass, and the procession. Associations and brotherhoods will contribute with street parades, games, and food distribution. There will be Children's Days on the 6th and 7th, and a Noise-Free Fair on the 7th and 8th for individuals with sensory sensitivities.
Additionally, religious events organized by the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Pillar will take place on October 12th, and a memorial mass on Tuesday the 13th. The City Council recommends checking for any last-minute changes to the schedule.
