The campaign, designed to facilitate the understanding and application of messages in daily life, integrates various informative and advertising formats. In its first phase, videos will be disseminated on social media, clearly and visually explaining how to correctly separate waste at home.
A distinctive element of this initiative is the series of videos featuring the sculpture El Astronauta, created by artist Francisco Leiro. This figure serves as a common thread to convey the idea that every individual action contributes to improving the quality of life in the municipality, using relatable examples and everyday situations.
The initiative will unfold in two phases: the first between May and June, and the second in September and October. Its primary goal is to help residents recycle more efficiently, correcting common errors and reinforcing simple habits that directly impact the municipality's cleanliness and waste utilization.
Additionally, the City Council has implemented a virtual assistant accessible via WhatsApp. This service allows residents to consult specific recycling questions and receive immediate recommendations from their mobile devices, offering real-time answers and facilitating access to practical information tailored to local needs.
“"Recycling starts at home and depends on small actions that we can all incorporate into our daily lives. With this campaign, we want to facilitate that task, resolve doubts, and offer useful tools so that every resident can contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable municipality."
With this strategy, the Consistory aims to bring information closer to citizens, answer frequently asked questions, and foster greater involvement in responsible waste management, using accessible tools adapted to the most popular communication channels among the population.
