The Valdemoro City Council has approved a modification to the 2026 fiscal calendar, adjusting payment deadlines for the Property Tax (IBI) and the Urban Solid Waste Collection Fee.

The municipal Plenary of Valdemoro has given the green light to the alteration of the fiscal calendar that will apply in 2026 for the Property Tax (IBI) and the Urban Solid Waste Collection Fee. This decision establishes new dates for the voluntary payment period of both taxes.
According to the plenary agreement, the first semester for voluntary payment will run between July 20 and September 22. The second period will extend from October 20 to December 22. For direct debit payments, charges will be made on August 20 and November 20, respectively.
This measure, justified for technical reasons, aims to optimize the collection process management and provide greater security to taxpayers in fulfilling their fiscal obligations. The agreement also includes the public display of tax rolls for 15 calendar days before the start of each collection period, along with the publication of the corresponding collection notice.
The payment system remains unchanged, offering various channels to pay the bills, including the municipal electronic headquarters, collaborating banking entities, ATMs, and telephone assistance.
With this update, the Valdemoro City Council adapts its fiscal calendar to the current circumstances, resulting from a cyberattack that the Consistory suffered on May 5, thus ensuring the proper municipal collection.
