A driver was rescued after being trapped for two hours in the cabin of an overturned truck on the M-407, near Leganés, in an operation coordinated by emergency services.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when a heavy-duty truck, carrying cardboard, overturned sideways onto the median at kilometer 3 of the M-407, within the municipality of Leganés.
The driver was mechanically trapped inside the cabin, prompting a laborious rescue operation by the Community of Madrid Firefighters. The extrication efforts lasted for approximately two hours.
Throughout the operation, SUMMA paramedics provided care and stabilized the injured individual. Once freed, the driver was transported to a hospital for a thorough medical evaluation, as, despite no apparent serious injuries, they were considered a potential polytrauma patient.
