The town of Pinto is getting ready for its Cristo 2026 Festivities, which will feature an extensive program of cultural, musical, and religious activities, highlighting performances by well-known groups and events for all ages.

The Pinto City Council, through its Department of Culture, has designed a diverse program for the Cristo 2026 Festivities. Musical events include performances by Mojinos Escozíos and Efecto Mariposa, as well as a tribute to Queen and shows by orchestras like La Reina Show and La Bestial at the Fairgrounds.

"This celebration is more than a tradition. It is an opportunity to reconnect with our roots and the essence of who we are as a town. Pinto will once again be filled with life, laughter, music, and energy that turns every corner into a place for."

The opening speech for the festivities will be given by the Club Deportivo Ciudad de Pinto, celebrating its 15th anniversary, at 9:00 PM at the Fairgrounds. The decision was communicated to the club by the Mayor of Pinto and several council members, being enthusiastically received by the team.
The program also includes activities for children, such as the Snow White show and the Baílalo school. Other offerings include a popular chocolate tasting, a 'peñas' gymkhana, a community meal, and the 'Made in Pinto' festival, which will bring together various local groups over several days of celebration. The festivities will conclude with a fireworks display in Juan Carlos I Park on Saturday, May 30, at 00:05 AM.
With inclusivity in mind, the Fairgrounds will offer 'noise-free hours' for attractions, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, every day. Additionally, parking spaces for people with reduced mobility will be available in front of the main entrance to the Fairgrounds on Fridays, May 22 and 29, and Saturdays, May 23 and 30. The Brotherhood of the Santísimo Cristo del Calvario will hold religious acts from May 24 to 31, including mass, a floral offering, and, of course, the transfer on the 24th and the procession on May 31.
