The municipality of Móstoles is preparing to host one of the most anticipated events of its Patron Saint Festivities: the 2026 Artisan Market. This market, which aims to offer residents unique experiences with a historical ambiance, will take place between Friday, September 11th, and Tuesday, September 15th.
The official opening of the market is scheduled for Friday, September 11th, at 5:00 PM. The stalls will be located in Plaza del Pradillo, Avenida Antonio Hernández, and Agustina de Aragón street, offering a wide range of artisanal products.
The market's program includes various daily activities. On Friday, September 11th, after the opening, there will be workshops on clay amulets, wood carving, blown glass, and stonemasonry, as well as puppet shows like 'El sueño de volar' (The Dream of Flying) and themed street performances such as 'Magos Celtas' (Celtic Magicians) and 'El repique del herrero' (The Blacksmith's Ring).
The weekend will be full of activities. On Saturday, September 12th, the morning will feature musical ambiance, street performances like 'Seres del bosque' (Forest Beings) and 'Elfos' (Elves), and workshops on creating clay coins, craft comics, wood carving, and blown glass. In the afternoon, more workshops, puppet shows like 'La bailarina y el dragón' (The Ballerina and the Dragon), and street performances such as 'Los gitanos' (The Gypsies) and 'Brujos Trashumantes' (Nomadic Witches) will take place.
Sunday, September 13th, will begin with popular breakfasts in Plaza de España. The day will continue with workshops similar to Saturday's, street performances like 'La maga y el druida' (The Sorceress and the Druid), and puppet shows. Finally, Tuesday, September 15th, the last day of the market, will offer a full day with workshops, puppet shows, street performances, and musical ambiance, concluding with a farewell to the crafts and a fire street performance.
