The announcement, made by the band themselves for their ‘Las Noches de las Brujas Tour 2026’, places Mägo de Oz in Leganés for a concert scheduled at 9 PM. This marks the second time in nearly a decade that the Madrid-based group will be featured in the town's main festival celebrations.
While official confirmation from the City Council is pending, the inclusion of this date in their tour, which spans several cities in Spain and Mexico, suggests the event's imminent officialization.
During the performance, attendees will have the opportunity to hear songs from their latest album, ‘Malicia: La noche de las brujas’, which features 17 tracks, alongside some of their most recognized hits.
Mägo de Oz, formed in Madrid in 1988, boasts an extensive musical career. After achieving success in the late nineties, they released ‘Finisterra’ in 2000, an album that included songs like ‘Hasta que el Cuerpo Aguante’, ‘La Danza del Fuego’, and ‘Fiesta Pagana’. Their musical style blends rock, heavy metal, Celtic music, and folk, often exploring themes related to mythology, literature, and religion.
The band has released numerous studio albums and live works, and has undertaken many national and international tours. Their conceptual album ‘Alicia en el Metalverso’, released a year prior to their latest work, is a reinterpretation of Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland'.
